It only took a day at my sister’s place on the coast to fire up my art again. My sketchbook and paints have lain dormant for too long.
We walked the beach, shared dinner with a friend, consulted the Tarot, and chatted into the night. And she showed me her sketchbook.
After I returned home, I got out my own drawing tablet. Ta-DAh!
Charming, Orice. Reminds me of Emily Carr, the Canadian artist.
Last week I spent a few days at the coast in Lincoln City (boyfriend has a beach house) and it was so relaxing and such clean air!!!! It renews the spirit to escape sometimes.
Yea for beach time! So glad you have a boyfriend too.
I love the charming whimsy of your art.
Thank you, Barb. This has become my more recent way of creative expression.
I like your drawing. I thought at first that there was a doll in top of shelves. But looking closer, it wasn’t. You need one…lol…
Your eyes did not deceive you. There is a doll on the top shelf, and he’s the Raven doll I made years ago. I no longer make them. Without the gals at the Doll club, I am no longer motivated. .
